Panama City Hotels: What $96 Gets You In Panama!

 Hi everybody foxnomad here and today I want to help you travel smarter by showing you what a $ 96 a night hotel room looks like in panama city, panama, now maybe you're, looking for accommodation in panama, city or you're, just curious about what different hotel rooms look Like around the world and what you can get for your budget, or maybe you've seen the online reviews that are questioning how many stars this hotel actually is. I'm going to give you a full tour and review of this hotel so that you can see what it's like for yourself, but before we get started, if you're not already make sure that you are subscribed to the channel and let's go so. I want to give you the experience of what it's like to walk into this room, because when you look at the online reviews, some of them say.

Oh, this is not a really nice hotel. The room isn't as bright. It's not as clean. It's a little bit dingy, it's smaller, but that's what I was expecting because I read all those reviews.

However, when you get to the room, so I was expecting like I said something that was going to be really small and not as nice, but then they have. These welcome lights on here and you walk in, and the room is absolutely huge. It is really a nice decorated room, it is spacious, it is clean, it looks fantastic, so I was expecting something that was going to be way smaller and not quite as nice, and I was very pleasantly surprised. So let me give you a tour around this hotel room to show you what you can get for your $ 96.

So you' got this massive bed right here. You've got a small little place to sit. You've got your television.

You've got this wide open space and a desk where you can lay out all of your electronics. You've got a large nice window, that's looking out into the rest of the city, you're pretty high up at least I'm on the 16th floor here and you get to see a lot of panama. You get to see the water which is kind of a nice view and the global panama hotel is located in a very central part of the business district, and there are a lot of shops a lot of restaurants, a lot of things that are open late at Night, convenience stores all that stuff very close within walking distance and costco vijo, which is an older part of the city which has a lot of cafes. Restaurants.

A lot of things to do a lot of touristic sites, a part of town that you're going to want to visit - quite often, probably if you're here for tourism and for travel, it's about a 10 to 15minute drive. So that's also not too far away and the canal, it's yourself. If you want to go visit, the panama canal is about a 40minute drive away, which is not too far. You've got your mini bar you've got your two night stands.

You've got this nice queen siiz bed, which is very soft and very comfortable special shout out to the pillows. They are really really soft, so some of the nicest pillows in a hotel that I found in this price range. You got this large closet here and there is a ton of closet space throughout this hotel room.

It's just massive there's a lot of space. You can put your things up here. You can put your things up here and you you've got an ironing board. You've got a small little thing.

You know that little carriage to put your luggage on and before I show you, the bathroom, which is absolutely huge. Let me talk about checking in so getting a ride from the airport is $ 35. If you use the hotel service, it's very quick, it's about 20minute drive, the driver is very friendly, really efficient gets you here on time, and the staff at the checkin owner were very, very friendly, very helpful.

They speak english. They speak spanish and they're going to help. You with whatever you need, while you're in town, so if you're worried about you, know customer service, maybe you're not getting a good customer service for your money.

My experience has been that the staff here throughout the hotel have been really friendly and really nice. So I haven't had any issues with them and can even compliment them on just really good service, and I can also say kudos to the cleaning staff, because when I walked into the hotel room, it was absolutely spotless everything the soaps, the shampoos. All that stuff was in their little place. It just looked really nicely done and there wasn't a you know, speck of dust or anything any kind of dirt or anything like that.

So the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning these rooms, and with that said, let me show you the last real major portion of the hotel room, and that is this huge bathroom. So you've got your sink. There. You've got this big big, big mirror.

Then you've got your closeup mirror there. So that's nice inside of here, you've got your you've, got your toilet and that's in its little separate room and then, if you walk over here, you've got your walkin shower. One thing that I will say, though, is that these lights, you know they're kind of hard to turn on and off and, like all of my hotel reviews, this is not sponsored. I just wanted to give you an idea and show you what your $ 96 gets.

You here in panama city, I know finding accommodation can be really difficult when you're traveling, especially to a new city and a lot of times. The reviews are really difficult to decipher because you get good review, good review, good review and then like the one terrible review that makes it really difficult for you to actually see what a room is like and maybe in this case I was expecting something to be A little bit worse than what I got and the room is absolutely really really really nice. I really enjoyed this room.

The hotel so far is nice. The restaurant has been great, so they have great food at the restaurant. You also get access to a gym.

You get access to a pool and you also get breakfast included in that $ 96. Speaking of it is 8 in the morning, so I might as well show you the breakfast and see what kind of food that you can get here for your 96 bucks are so this is a really impressive breakfast spread here at the hotel. There's a lot of good food, a lot of different options and when I was videoing the food one of the chefs came out and said: no, no, no wait wait wait. So I was like.

Oh, am I not allowed to film in here? I said: no! No! No, let me bring out some of the other food, some of the dishes that are freshly cooked, so that you get nice shots of them. I wish you could smell what those chocolate little croissant smell like, because it is so rich. It's such a rich chocolate, flavor and uh - oh my god, oh and in case you're wondering about the wifi and what the internet is like. I'm getting about 50 to 60 megabits down and about 50 to 60 megabits up which makes video calls super fast.

I can upload to youtube. I can do a lot of heavyhitting things with the wifi here. It is a fast connection and it's very stable. So overall, this is a very nice day here at the global panama hotel hotel, I think for $ 96.

You definitely get your money's worth. Maybe it's a little bit above the amount that you want to pay per night, but I think, as a you know, kind of average rate for this city for something that's a little bit nicer. Then you get a lot for your money, you get the breakfast, you get a great room, you get a lot of space, you get the gym, you get the breakfast, you get the pool all that stuff is included for your $ 96.
